Petrafas-M is a high-quality stone wool board. This product boasts excellent insulation properties (thermal conductivity coefficient λ≤0.035 W/mK), enabling effective temperature maintenance within the building. This allows for minimizing heat loss during winter and reducing excessive heating during summer.
Mineral wool is also a non-combustible product with the highest fire resistance class A1.
Petrafas-M finds specific application in acoustic and fire insulation of stairwells, which has many benefits for both the residents' comfort and energy savings. Insulating stairwells with mineral wool can limit the spread of fire in case of emergencies and significantly reduce the propagation of sounds, which is particularly crucial in multi-family buildings. This can contribute to improving the acoustic comfort of the residents.
